BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Bayless was born in Dallas, Texas. From the first grade on, she enjoyed school so much that when she would go home she would be the teacher to a classroom of dolls and stuffed toys. In elementary school Mrs. Bayless' favorite subject was math, so that was the subject she taught her dolls. In the fourth grade Mrs. Bayless began to study the piano, so then her dolls and toys also studied piano, soon giving concerts and recitals for family and friends. She always wanted to teach school, and her love of music led her to achieving degrees in music education and performance. She has taught public school music for thirty-one years.  She also is the organist at First United Methodist Church, DeSoto and accompanist for the Southwest Children's Chorus.   A 17 year cancer survivor, she has participated in many events for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen, including Relay for Life, 5k Races for the Cure, and the Komen 60-mile Three Day event. She has also completed
twenty-five marathons in various cities throughout the U. S.
Mrs. Bayless and her husband are the proud parents of a nine year old black lab.
